Hawker and Grill Buffet @ Carousel International Coffeehouse, Palace of the Golden Horses
I guess many of you will agree with me that the best part of buffet is you get to eat till you drop. If you enjoy eating buffet as much as I do, then you wouldn't want to miss this!
One of the many things that we Malaysians are proud of is our hawker food, and Carousel International Coffeehouse at Palace of the Golden Horses is now offering a Hawker and Grill Buffet with delicious dishes that would definitely satisfy food lovers.
The coffeehouse is situated on the Lower Ground level with a seating capacity of 220 guests. Walking into the coffeehouse, I felt like stepping into a merry-go-round with the carousel-inspired design.
Let's take a look at some of the dishes served at the buffet.
Varieties of bread.
Salad corner is always one of my favourite corners to start my buffet.
Generous cuts of smoked salmon, smoked duck and ham.
Pickles to go with your salad.
Oysters and prawns are considerably fresh.
Fresh cuts of lamb shoulder and cutlets, seafood and skewers cooked to order.
Crunchy Popiah Nyonya, nice to have as snack.
Sotong Kangkung.
It's a shame that the Prawn Noodle was lacking in prawn flavours.
Steamed dim sum.
Feel free to "customize" the cendol to your liking.
Fresh fruits. Spot any of your favourite?
There were hits and misses on the desserts corner, but they were generally not too bad.
The Hawker and Grill Buffet by Carousel International Coffeehouse is only available till September 2017 on Saturdays & Sundays only. The buffet is priced at RM88 nett/adult and RM 44 nett/child,
