Canon EOS M10 x Rilakkuma

Many are into incorporating TravelToy into their photos, such as using their favourite soft toy or figurine drooling over a piece of cake or peeking out from their bag. Though I don't really use TravelToy in my photos (probably because my soft toys are too big size to bring around!!), I can understand that by doing so it actually bring creativity and make the photos more interesting.

Canon has recently partner-up with Rilakkuma with new EOS M10; and to kick things off, they have launched a special edition EOS M10 box set that comes with a limited edition 24cm Rilakkuma plush toy.

Thanks to The Butterfly Project, I get the chance to attend the fun event at WhupWhup Cafe in Subang Jaya! There were Rilakkuma everywhere!! Aren't they are just adorable?!

Yes, I went camera crazy at the event! HAHHAHAHAHAHA~~~~~

I've been a Canon user for years and have been using both their digital camera and DSLR for a very long time.

So, what's so unique about this EOS M10?
- the lightest camera in the series but still maintain the high quality

- fast Hybrid CMOS AF II autofocus system
180° tilt-tyle Touchscreen LCD+
- skin smoothing effect with just one touch
- Wifi feature, allow seamless sharing on multiple social media platform

Unboxing the NEW Realash Eyelash Enhancer + BROW

11:46 becky-wong 1 Comments

If you only have the time to put on makeup on one part of your face, what would it be? For me, the eyes areas are most important, as one can look very different with nice brows and pretty lashes. After all, there's a saying "The eyes is the window to the soul".

Without further ado, I would like to bring your attention to Realash.

Realash Cosmetics was born in France, and their products can be found in 35 countries internationally. One of their main and star products is the eyelash enhancer, which I have done a review 2 years ago. Realash continuously draw inspiration from nature, discovering wonderful properties of natural plant extracts to produce not only innovative eyelash enhancers that deliver high effectiveness; but also safe from side effects, irritations or allergies.

Realash has recently released a new and improved Realash Eyelash Enhancer, along with a whole new range that caters to different needs of the eyes such as brow conditioner, mascara, eyeliner and etc.

Tadaa!!!! The new REALASH Eyelash Enhancer and BROW Conditioner from Realash! ^_^

REALASH Eyelash Enhancer

REALASH is an innovative enhancer whose mission is to fortify, increase density and lengthen your eyelashes. The serum regenerates lashes in a very short time. Its formula has been dermatologically and opthalmologically tested by specialists. It is highly recommended by users and beauty bloggers. REALASH will add volume and length to your lashes and enhance their overall appearance so they will look simply gorgeous!
From black to minty-white, I really like the current packaging. It's has a very elegant feel to it.

The tip is thin and quite soft, and the application is super easy:

There is a slight cooling sensation upon application, but it doesn't irritate the eyes at all.

BROW by Realash

BROW is an innovative and effective brow conditioner that enhances the overall look and condition of your eyebrows. BROW has been formulated from the highest quality ingredients. The conditioner contains active peptides which condition, strengthen and stimulate hair growth. BROW also contains ginseng extract that improves blood flow in skin and strengthens hair matrix.

Same as the eyelash enhancer, the tip is as soft and the application is really easy too.

My sparse eyebrows and not so thick and curly lashes.

I am going to try out both products for a month and will be sharing the results by then. Till then, do check out my previous experiences with REALASH here and here.

May Unboxing with Cubecrate

17:14 becky-wong 0 Comments

Hello lovely people, I'm back with another unboxing post with Cubecrate! It was all about food in their April box, and the foodie in me was doing the happy dance. This time round, they have mixed it up a bit.

So, let's see what goodies they've prepared in the May box.
A voucher to have a second treatment at Beyond Beauty International

The homemade brownie from For Goodness Cakes was rich and moist. Though the sweetness was a little bit too much for me, but I enjoyed the sweet treat a lot.

Super soft baby towel from Rainbow & Butterflies. They provide handmade customize baby gifts, clothes and products. I don't have a baby at home, but the texture is really soft, so I'd probably be using it to clean my glasses.

Yummy lip balm from TheSabun. The lip balm has a sweet scent that kinda reminds me a lot of banana. The colourless lip balm is really moisturizing after applying on the lips and doesn't leave any sticky residue, so it is really perfect to apply before your lipstick.

Pomegranate Rejuvenating Facial Scrub from Alveu Malaysia. The scrub is said to give the skin the deep natural care it deserves. The unique blend of pomegranate, essential oils and micro scrub gently cleanses and rejuvenate skin keeping it pimple free and clear. Also, it can act as anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and ability to  encourage radiant skin.

The scrubs are really fine and it doesn't hurt my skin after using it. Also, I really like that it doesn't have too overwhelming fragrances.

Another moisturizing and whitening samples from Mycare Malaysia. The texture of the skincare is pretty thick but really moisturizing. However, if you have easily-congested skin like mine, I would advice to apply a thin layer of the products. On the other hand, I think these would be perfect for my upcoming trip to Perth!

Pretz n' Beanz Cafe @ Jalan Telawi, Bangsar

23:06 becky-wong 0 Comments

Do you love pretzels? Especially the ones that were freshly-made and served warm. I do. I love the soft and fluffy pretzels, and can have it in both sweet and savoury. Earlier this year, I had the chance to drop by Pretz n' Beanz at Solaris Mont Kiara to try out their pretzels, and they were absolutely
amazing!

Few weeks ago, Pretz n' Beanz opened up another new outlet in Bangsar, and I had the opportunity to drop by with my lovely ladies to try out their pretzels! The shop is located along the same row as Mikey's Pizza, a few doors away from Jaslyn Cakes.

Interior wise, it's pretty much the same as their outlet in Mont Kiara. They have remained the comfy ambiance of the cafe.

First and foremost, the pretzels of course!

Poppy Seeds Pretzels (RM 6.50). Poppy seeds have always been incorporated into bread, and work great with the soft and fluffy pretzels too. The poppy seeds added very subtle nutty flavours to the pretzel.

Seaweed Pretzel (RM 6.50). The seaweed added nice crunchy texture to the soft pretzel.

Chocolate Cookie Crunch (RM 8.50). For all chocolate lovers! Sprinkled with cookies and chocolate drizzles, the sweetness of this pretzel was just nice.

Champignon Baked Egg (RM 18). Pretzels served with baked eggs, mushroom and Mozzarella cheese. This was one of my favourite at Pretz n' Beanz - runny eggs, earthy mushrooms topped topped with lightly crusted savoury cheese. The baked egg was done perfectly with lots of cheesy flavours.

Flammkuchen (RM 18 - 7"/ RM 26.50 - 10"). At Pretz n' Beanz, they uses pretzel dough as their pizza base. The Flammkuchen was topped with sour cream, yellow onion slices, beef brisket, and Mozzarella cheese.

Hot Pepper Chili Chicken Pizza (RM 17 - 7" / RM 24.50 - 10"). The were a generous amount of pepper chili on the pizza.

I really love how soft the dough was. As for the flavours, there wasn't much to shout about.

Royale Salmon Egg Benedict (RM 28.50). Savoury smoked salmon, runny egg yolks and soft bun. This dish was totally yum, and we can't wait to sink our teeth into it. Another personal favourite of mine!

Prawn Aglio Olio (RM 28.50). Since we were barely full, we decided to add on a spaghetti dish. The prawns were fresh and cooked perfectly, but some might find the spiciness to be a little over the top.

Rainbow Cake. A very beautiful cake. However, I find it a little too sweet for my liking.

Sesame Crepe. The texture of the crepe wasn't too bad and I really like the sesame flavours in it. The sweetness of the crepe was just nice, and I enjoyed this more than the rainbow cake.

Volcano Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream (RM 15.05). I like the combination of hot and cold in my dessert, but I find the chocolate was a tad too sweet too.

Green Tea Latte (RM 13.90). Sweetened matcha green tea with steamed milk. The green tea latte at Pretz n' Beanz has a very pleasant tea aroma and instead of the usual bitterness, it has a mild sweetness. A very feminine drink to have.

Cookies n' Creme (RM 16.20). I wasn't in the mood for coffee, so I ordered an ice-blended cookies n' creme. It wasn't as creamy or rich as I would have preferred.

The Cafe Latte - Cold (RM 11) was really mild. I really wished the coffee flavours would be slightly stronger though.

Pretz n' Beanz really does have a comfy ambiance, and with their delicious pretzels, the cafe is definitely worth a visit!
