Love is in the air~~oh oh oh~~ Love is in the air~~~

Once again, the time of the year where the air is fill with love and streets full of couples cuddling, holding hands, and whispering softly their love to each other. Last but not least, though not a big fan and kinda cliche, dozens of flowers in those pretty gals hand. ^^

Me and my boyfriend decided to bring forward our celebration few days before 14th February, since the actual day falls on a working day - Tuesday. We went to have nice buffet lunch at Zipangu Restaurant in Shangri-La Hotel. It has been quite some time since I've been there, and I was expecting some quality changes or price increment from them. Out of my expectations, they did not increase their price and still manage to maintain their quality after so many years.

Happily I went straight to the sashimi and oysters section, after all, they are 2 of my all time favourite!! One of the reason why I prefer Japanese buffet than the a la carte style - I can have unlimited serving of those fresh, thick-cut fish meat!!!! OMG.... if only Zipangu start serving salmon belly and sea urchin (that will be perfect...ohh la la~~~~~YUMMY). Might lead to increased price, BUT still... keeping my fingers cross and hopefully one day my wish will come true. HAHAHAHA!! Other than these cold dishes, they also serve excellent cooked food for patrons that tend to shy away from raw food - Unagi, Sukiyaki, Tempura, Tempanyaki and lotsss more!!!

We were both extremely bloated with all the delicacies that we tried to fit into out stomach with limited space.... We need a nice walk!! So, we decided to have some window shopping at Pavillion since I need to grab some Hokkaido Cakes from Tokyo Street. Never thought I could have done window shopping WITHOUT buying a single stuff....hmmmm...... (should reward myself on that though... LOL)

Anyway..... many people will say is just another day for the restaurants, florists and shopping malls to make extra money! For me, everyday is a Valentine's Day if we are with the person we love and they love us back the way we deserve <3

So, last but not least.....

** Happy Valentine's and may all the lovers out there have a wonderful and romantic year **

Dinner time!!!!!

Had a family dinner tonight at restaurant that is kinda located in out of nowhere!! Somewhere near Port Klang, I think. After all the turns in those small and bumpy road (which made my stomach feeling more worse on top of my hunger!!), finally we made our way to the restaurant. We were there bout 7+ ish, but the place was already crowded with dinner crowd. It was my 1st time there, and I was busy checking out all the food on all the tables. And oh my gosh...they just look super delicious!!!!!

Luckily we had make our reservation and pre-book the dishes, but still, we waited for a bit of time for our food to serve. So, to kill our time while waiting for the chef to prepare our food and satisfy our stomach, all of us were busy taking pictures of the scenery over there. I must say, we get a good spot with a sunset view. Hmmm.... ^^

Finally, our food were served after all the waiting (it was a long wait for me, as my stomach was giving out protest due to its lack of food to digest - hunger!!). We were busy digging into the food, and thanks god they serve their food fast. Put our hunger aside, I must say that the food were delicious!! We ordered lots of seafood, from prawn mantis to cockles-liked dish to crabs!! YUMMYYYY~~~~~

Yee Sang... again

Guess what's this......tadaa!!!!  - shark head!!

Prawn Mantis

Missed out a few dishes... due to busy eating the food!!! Oppss..... ><

Day out at Solaris Dutamas...

18:16 becky-wong 0 Comments

Went to Solaris Dutamas today with my beloved boyfriend to hunt for lunch (the usual questions: where to eat and what to eat... =p). We ended up at their Publika food court, (of all places....I know you'll say that!!). Saw they have a newly opened (I think so...) fish head noodles, which supposingly to be the famous shop from Cheras.

Fresh Fish Noodles ^^

I LOVEEEE my fish head noodles to be milky and creamy!!! And, that's how they serve it! I've tried the so-called famous shop at Taman Desa, but still, I prefer this 'lil stall in Publika Solaris Dutamas. Personally, I think it is worth to make a trip there to try this out, and I'm pretty sure I'll be craving for this very soon again!

We were taking a walk inside the building and guess what... lion dance and performance!!! Due to the crowd I did not manage to snap a pic of the lion dance performance....BUT I did manage to take d pic of the performance and a long table of "yee sang".

Performance of chinese musical instruments

After a good walk and checking out the place for any new shops, naturally is COFFEE TIME!!!! Came across this little coffee stand (not quite sure what you call it) inside the grocery. It is called "The Plan B". I had a cuppa flat white and my boyfriend ordered an iced coffee (gosh...forget name of his coffee ><). It is a nice place for hanging out after all the grocery shopping, and the staffs are friendly. I was expecting the coffee to be pricey, after all, it is located inside solaris. But the price range is roughly about RM8-RM12 (kinda forget what's their most expensive coffee...). I like what they did with the little corner and the way their design the stall.

Friendly staff

Ladies and gentlemen...boys and gals!! Here's a newbie in the town...ME!!!!! Basically, many peeps have been writing blogs ages ago...and why only now I'm starting to write one? Hmmm.... let's just say that have the sudden urge to share my thoughts....random huh?? =p

So..for starters..let me do something cliche and introduce myself. Gonna put in one sentence - a gal next door that LOVE food (will drive miles and miles just to get some bites!!), can't resist fashion and will do anything to get a good beauty product! ^^
