[Movie Review]: The Equalizer

There are lots of really talented actors in the film industry, and Denzel Washington definitely is one of them. After films such as "American Gangster" and "Book of Eli", he's back with another action movie - The Equalizer.

"McCall (Denzel Washington), a former black ops commando who has been living his quiet life in Boston, was forced to come out of his "retirement" to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloe Grace Moretz) from the Russian gangsters."

Kiss Me Heavy Rotation: Perfect Liquid Eyeliner

15:21 becky-wong 37 Comments

Happy Friday, peeps! Weekend is just around the corner, and what are your plans?
I'm a huge fan of eyeliner, and today I'm going to talk about a liquid eyeliner from Kiss Me Heavy Rotation - Perfect Liquid Eyeliner #01 Deep Black.

The tip is a soft flat brush pen type. Ever since the first application, I became a huge fan of this eyeliner.
  1. Smudge-proof
  2. Waterproof
  3. Resistant against sweat, water, oil and rubbing
  4. Easily removed with lukewarm water

The colour is really pigmented and really easy to apply, just shake the pen light 2-3 times and you can start applying your eyeliner. If you like finer lines, you can use the thin side; and you can opt for the thicker side to draw thicker eyeliner to add impact to your eyes.
Let's check out the results!

Wild Coffee Asia @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

Frankly speaking, Puchong is a place that I'd avoid at all cost. Why? The traffic situation there is really crazy. However, over the weekend, Joe and I braved ourselves through the traffic and paid a visit to the Wild Coffee Asia at Bandar Puteri Puchong, in courtesy of their invitation to try out their food.

The interior was simple and spacious. This means the patrons will be getting their privacy while dining, and I like this a lot. The ambiance was really friendly too, especially the staffs. I noticed there were quite a few families enjoying their meal, and it seems like a family-friendly café to hang out. There's a book shelf of you'd like to do some reading while waiting for your food to be served.

Hammam Tearoom, Publika Solaris Dutamas

After reading a few blogs on Hammam Tearoom at Publika Solaris Dutamas, I decided to pay the restaurant a visit with my brother. After all, apart from myself, he's the only person who enjoy such heavily-spiced cuisine in the family. The restaurant is located at the very top floor of Publika, 2 floors above MPH. It took us some time to locate the place.

My brother had the Tangerine Dreams (RM 7). The sweet and tangy cold beverage was very refreshing.

I've passed by Restaurant Ang Kee countless times, but never once step foot into the restaurant. Finally, my family and I decided to pay the restaurant a visit over the weekend. The restaurant is located the same block as the infamous Kayu Nasi Kandar at SS 2.
Since it was our first time there, we randomly ordered a few dishes to try out.

The Humble Pie Co. @ Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya

Cafes have been springing up like mushrooms after the rain, and I visited one of the new café in Seksyen 17 @ Petaling Jaya - The Humble Pie Co.

The café is located along the row of Kanna Curry House at Seksyen 17, same block as the police station. It's really easy to spot the café as you drive pass Kanna Curry House, as it is in bright coral colour.

P/s: sorry for not taking a photo of the shop >.<

Despite the name "The Humble Pie", they do serve main course too.

During our first visit, we decided to try out their pie and coffee (I'm a caffeine addict!).

Be Brave - What's Your Inner Hero?

Today, I’m going to talk about a more “private” topic – Premature Ejaculation (PE). It is a topic or issue that has been around for ages, but at the same time, has been a taboo.
First of all, let’s all understand what PE is all about. It is caused when men having difficulty in controlling their ejaculation and often ejaculates with little sexual stimulation. In Asia Pacific, 1 in 3 men are affected by this.
Many people find that it is very difficult to talk about this condition. This issue has always been a taboo, which culturally, we do not speak of such issues – not even to people who are close to us. PE sometimes poses negative effect on a person such as low self-confidence, anxiety, feelings of shame and avoidance of sexual intimacy. Although PE might be perceived to be man's own personal problem, but it's always easier and better to approach this as a couple. After all, it's always good to have the support from your partner.
To prevent such distress, it's important that men determine if they have this condition should they suspect they may have PE.
