Pretz n' Beanz Cafe @ Solaris Mont Kiara

Any pretzel fans out there? If you are, then I'm sure you want to know more about a cafe that I've discovered recently in Solaris Mont Kiara - Pretz n'Beanz Cafe.

Pretz n' Beanz is a cafe that serves soft pretzel and freshly-brewed coffee. Unlike some pretzel stands/stores, the pretzels at Pretz n' Beanz are made-to-order, and you can be assured to enjoy freshly-made soft pretzel every time.

When I first step foot into the cafe, I noticed they have a pretty cute logo and we were told there's a meaning behind it. The "pretzel" on the left and "coffee bean" on the right are tied together in a heart shape, representing their their love and passion for both pretzel and coffee. In the middle, there's a Chinese character of "人" (pronounce as"ren") which means human.

Thanks to Pretz n' Beanz Cafe, we had the chance to try a varieties of delicious food!

Cinnamon Sugar (RM 6.90)
I believe most of us like some sweetness in our pretzel, and the Cinnamon Sugar (RM 6.90) was one of my favourite. The soft pretzel was evenly coated with cinnamon and brown sugar. The coating might look thick, but the cinnamon and sweetness of the sugar was well-balanced and not overwhelming.

Basil Cheese Pretzel (RM 8.05)
The Basil Cheese Pretzel (RM 8.05) for a simple savoury option. The pretzel was as soft, and you can always add on some dipping sauce to go with your pretzels.

P.S. Tokyo @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

I'm not a huge dessert lover, and the only desserts that I like are ice cream and non-chocolate cakes. Hence, I hardly write or post dessert-related stuff. On the other hand, being a HUGE ice cream lover, I cannot not talk about P.S. Tokyo at SS2 Petaling Jaya that serves soft serve ice cream.

P.S. Tokyo is located same row as SS2 police station and CIMB, and the shop is on the first floor.

Matcha Soft Serve with Cornflakes
Most of the soft serves offers Vanilla or Milk flavours, so I decided to go for the Matcha instead and added on with some crunchy cornflakes. The ice cream was oh-so soft (duh....it is soft serve...) - milky yet with a subtle matcha flavours.

Tofu Cheesecake - Sesame (RM 12.90)
Super soft and smooth cheesecake - just like a silky soft tofu! Despite the sesame in it, it was very subtle and added extra savoury flavours to it.

Tofu Cheesecake - Original (RM 12.90)
Not a fan of sesame? The Original Tofu Cheesecake serve with Ginger Brown Sugar was as heavenly too, and this is my personal favourite. It has the same smooth texture of a tofu and the richness of the cheese at the same time. The ginger brown sugar was light, not overly-sweet and managed to bring out the flavours of the cheesecake.

Coffee Drip
Apart from your usual espresso-based coffee, P.S. Tokyo offers Coffee Drip too. You can choose your preference from light, medium and strong blend.

Ever since their opening in 2015, P.S. Tokyo has expanded their menu both dessert and drinks. In need a place to relax? Drop by the friendly P.S. Tokyo at SS2 then!
