Do you love pretzels? Especially the ones that were freshly-made and served warm. I do. I love the soft and fluffy pretzels, and can have it in both sweet and savoury. Earlier this year, I had the chance to drop by Pretz n' Beanz at Solaris Mont Kiara to try out their pretzels, and they were absolutely
amazing!

Few weeks ago, Pretz n' Beanz opened up another new outlet in Bangsar, and I had the opportunity to drop by with my lovely ladies to try out their pretzels! The shop is located along the same row as Mikey's Pizza, a few doors away from Jaslyn Cakes.

Interior wise, it's pretty much the same as their outlet in Mont Kiara. They have remained the comfy ambiance of the cafe.

First and foremost, the pretzels of course!

Poppy Seeds Pretzels (RM 6.50). Poppy seeds have always been incorporated into bread, and work great with the soft and fluffy pretzels too. The poppy seeds added very subtle nutty flavours to the pretzel.

Seaweed Pretzel (RM 6.50). The seaweed added nice crunchy texture to the soft pretzel.

Chocolate Cookie Crunch (RM 8.50). For all chocolate lovers! Sprinkled with cookies and chocolate drizzles, the sweetness of this pretzel was just nice.

Champignon Baked Egg (RM 18). Pretzels served with baked eggs, mushroom and Mozzarella cheese. This was one of my favourite at Pretz n' Beanz - runny eggs, earthy mushrooms topped topped with lightly crusted savoury cheese. The baked egg was done perfectly with lots of cheesy flavours.

Flammkuchen (RM 18 - 7"/ RM 26.50 - 10"). At Pretz n' Beanz, they uses pretzel dough as their pizza base. The Flammkuchen was topped with sour cream, yellow onion slices, beef brisket, and Mozzarella cheese.

Hot Pepper Chili Chicken Pizza (RM 17 - 7" / RM 24.50 - 10"). The were a generous amount of pepper chili on the pizza.

I really love how soft the dough was. As for the flavours, there wasn't much to shout about.

Royale Salmon Egg Benedict (RM 28.50). Savoury smoked salmon, runny egg yolks and soft bun. This dish was totally yum, and we can't wait to sink our teeth into it. Another personal favourite of mine!

Prawn Aglio Olio (RM 28.50). Since we were barely full, we decided to add on a spaghetti dish. The prawns were fresh and cooked perfectly, but some might find the spiciness to be a little over the top.

Rainbow Cake. A very beautiful cake. However, I find it a little too sweet for my liking.

Sesame Crepe. The texture of the crepe wasn't too bad and I really like the sesame flavours in it. The sweetness of the crepe was just nice, and I enjoyed this more than the rainbow cake.

Volcano Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream (RM 15.05). I like the combination of hot and cold in my dessert, but I find the chocolate was a tad too sweet too.

Green Tea Latte (RM 13.90). Sweetened matcha green tea with steamed milk. The green tea latte at Pretz n' Beanz has a very pleasant tea aroma and instead of the usual bitterness, it has a mild sweetness. A very feminine drink to have.

Cookies n' Creme (RM 16.20). I wasn't in the mood for coffee, so I ordered an ice-blended cookies n' creme. It wasn't as creamy or rich as I would have preferred.

The Cafe Latte - Cold (RM 11) was really mild. I really wished the coffee flavours would be slightly stronger though.

Pretz n' Beanz really does have a comfy ambiance, and with their delicious pretzels, the cafe is definitely worth a visit!
