I've passed by Restaurant Ang Kee countless times, but never once step foot into the restaurant. Finally, my family and I decided to pay the restaurant a visit over the weekend. The restaurant is located the same block as the infamous Kayu Nasi Kandar at SS 2.
Since it was our first time there, we randomly ordered a few dishes to try out.
Signature Tofu (RM 15)
The Signature Tofu (RM 15) was silky smooth, and I enjoyed eating it. However, I do hope to have more mushrooms on it.

1/2 Salted Crispy Duck (RM 34)
Wasn't a big fan of duck, but Salted Crispy Duck (RM 34) wasn't too bad. The skin was really crispy, but I find the meat to be a little too dry.

Steamed Tilapia in Soy Sauce (RM 30)
Steam fish - my favourite!!! No complain here, as the fish was fresh and wasn't over-cooked. ^_^

Stir Fried Lettuce (RM 12)
The vegetable were not over-cooked and they have a little crunch to it.

Overall, the dishes we ordered weren't too bad, but I'd say they were "ok" instead of really outstanding.

Total damage: RM 99 for 4 pax (include drinks and rice)

Address:
50, Jalan SS 2/10
47300, Petaling Jaya
Selangor

    1. I wouldn't mind the price if the food were really outstanding, but too bad it wasn't.
