[Beauty+Health] 14 Days Detox with Cuppatea!
Apart from consuming healthy food and working out, having detoxification on a regular basis plays an important role too. With all the toxic accumulated inside, it's not only harmful to your health but also will affect your skin and all the supplements you consumed will go to waste.

Cuppatea has 2 detox program - 14 days and 28 days detox program; and I got the chance to experience their 14 days detox program. With the program, I have to consume teatox in the morning and night.
1. Morningtime Detox
Ingredients: Mate leaves, Chinese oolong tea, Ginger root, Lotus leaves, Lemongrass, Ginseng root, Dandelion leaf, Gotu kola leaves, Nettle leaves
You can either start your day by having a cup of Morningtime detox, or drink it throughout the day when you get the chance. I chose to have it in the morning either before or after my breakfast. Since, the Morningtime detox contain a small amount of caffeine, I used it as a healthier substitute for my morning coffee.
I was quite worry to have the Morningtime detox as I do not want to be running to the washroom throughout the day! Fortunately, the Morningtime detox does not produce laxative effect, and I could drink it with peace of mind. Despite it has ginger in it, the ginger taste wasn't too strong and it just tasted like your usual Chinese tea. Nothing too funky or weird.
2. Bedtime Cleanse
Ingredients: Senna leaves, Burdock root, Liquorice root, Hawthorn leaves, Fenugreek seeds, Peppermint leaves, Chamomile, Psyllium seeds
Drink the Bedtime Cleanse every other night before going to bed (starting from day 1). Unlike Morningtime detox, Bedtime Cleanse produces a laxative effect to naturally cleanse and detoxify the body, approximately 8 hours after consuming.
Don't worry if you'll have trouble sleeping after drinking the teatox before bedtime. The Chamomile in it works wonder in giving me a night sleep. I noticed I felt very relaxed after consuming Bedtime Cleanse and my sleep quality has improved. It used to take me some time to fall asleep, but my condition improved ever since I started consuming teatox. The peppermint leaves in it was refreshing.
My Verdict?
I like the detox program with Cuppatea. It's not just teatox for weight loss, but also an healthy drink to add into your healthy lifestyle. Compare to some detox drinks, Cuppatea's doesn't gave me major stomach pain while I was going through with the program.
Also, I like how the packaging came with a seal whereby I could sealed it up without going through the hassle to hunt for proper storage to keep all the teabags fresh- it's super convenient!
Some tips for you during your detox program:
- Drink LOTS of water!
- Add extra vegetables into meals to help you full up
- Avoid processed, fast foods, alcohol and fizzy drinks (these are unhealthy, anyway!)
- Avoid meat as they contain toxins that you are trying to cleanse during your teatox. Use fish as an alternative
- Take fruits as snacks - banana, apple, orange, grapes, strawberries and many more
- Relax and live life! Chocolate lovers? Have some dark chocolate instead.
