Joy St. @ Jalan Telawi, Bangsar: Bringing Joy to the Streets of Bangsar!
Who loves ice cream? I know I love ice cream, so much so that I can finish the whole big tub of ice cream ALL BY MYSELF, regardless how cold the weather is! So, I'm always out seeking for new ice cream parlours to feed my cravings. And, I am super excited to announce a new gelato shop in Bangsar - Joy St.!
Joy St. opens its doors to the public on the 1st July 2017 along Jalan Telawi 2 in Bangsar. It is located next to Tiny Temptress. So dessert lovers, you can now enjoy both cakes and gelato at the same time! The gelato at Joy St. are made fresh daily in-house with high quality ingredients.
Joy St. was created with the dream to bring joy to people, and hoping their customers to leave the shop feeling happier. Their quirky design of brick road, customized street sign, repurposed furniture definitely gives out a positive vibe.
During the launch, we get to try ALL the gelato that was available that day.
The Cheesecake.
Red Velvet. Oddly, it has a very Milo-like after taste, which I kinda enjoyed.
Ferrero Rocher. Not too sweet, and I like the nuttiness in the gelato.
Watermelon Lychee. It was my first time trying out this combination, and I wasn't a huge fan of the perfumey lychee aroma.
Mint Chocolate. I'm always a fan of minty chocolate!
Joy St. offers a wide variety of flavours, but I was kinda in a rush that day so couldn't really try all of them. Apart from gelato, they have 99% fat free sorbets and waffles too! Hmmm.... I really should drop by again to try other flavours and the waffles!
