[Review] My FoodPanda Experience

After all the recent beauty posts, I'm back again with another kind-of-food-related review!

Ever wished that your meal will be delivered to your doorstep, especially when you are too caught up with work or to exhausted to cook a meal after a whole day of work? We are talking more than just fast food like McD or KFC here.

I'm sure you are familiar with FoodPanda by now. They are an online food delivery service, who believe that ordering food should be easy, fast and definitely fun!

After hearing so much about FoodPanda, I decided to give it a try.
1. Login/Create an Account

Create an account with them if you don't have one. It's advisable to create an account with them, so you can save the hassle of keying in your details every single time you order with them.

2. Choose your location

Choose the location nearest to your area and check out the list of restaurants they offer. I selected the area closest to me and started exploring the restaurants. On a side note, their delivery area is quite limited at the moment but I'm very sure they'll soon expand to more locations in the near future. So, do check their delivery availability at your area from their website here.

3. Select your restaurant

You can narrow down the list by filtering the restaurants or the cuisines they serve. Alternatively, you could do what I did - browse through the entire list and choose my preference. *It was a challenge for me to pick one, as I had my eyes on quite a few restaurants!

Proceed to check out after you have selected your preferred dishes from the restaurant menu. You'll receive a confirmation email and SMS to notify you on the estimate delivery time.

Voila! Sit back, relax and wait for your meal delivered to you at your doorstep.

We ordered our lunch from Puzzini Swedish Pizza from TTDI, and the delivery was on time - despite it was raining cats and dogs the whole day!

P/S: I tried to take some photos of the delivery from FoodPanda, but I wasn't able to due to the rain. >.<

Overall, I had a really good experience with FoodPanda and will definitely consider their service again as it's really super convenience. Check them out now and place our order with FoodPanda now! Their app is also available on IOS, Android and Windows.

  1. We have several sites- groups- here in the Philippines that give the same service as Food Panda. It's very convenient for businesses because they can just outsource the delivery service. It's also convenient for busy people -- there are now more food delivery options aside from the usuals ( McDonald's, KFC ). Do they have a fixed rate for delivery? Or is there just a required minimum amount for delivery?
