Delicacies are everywhere, the only question is "Do you know where to find them?"
Way before I started my blog, I've always like to explore places - especially when it comes to food. I don't really mind driving a distance to have nice food, especially when the place has nice ambiance too. Couple of weeks ago, my friends and I dropped by a cafe at Bandar Sri Damansara named Tree 15.
I have to admit Kepong is one area that I rarely explore, purely because of the traffic and.... the toll. Decided to pay Tree 15 a visit because my friends had actually went there and they said it is a nice cafe.
Stepping into Tree 15, I like the cozy vibe of the cafe. Oh, they are child friendly too! They even provide crayons for kids to play with.
Personally, I'd prefer the outdoor seats. If the weather is right, this will be a nice corner for OOTD too.
Going up to 1st floor, is another quite corner at Tree 15. They even provide an outdoor mezzanine area for people who prefer the outdoor and some privacy.
Cold Noodle Salad (RM 12). We all know Malaysia weather can be crazy hot most of the times, and this is where having some cold noodles seems to be a genius idea. Topped with Teriyaki chicken and homemade special Thai sauce served at the side, this sweet and tangy salad absolutely kick-started our appetite.
Tree 15 Special Fried Rice (RM 16). If you are looking for a dish that's worth the value, this is certainly the one - a big piece of fried chicken drumstick served with fried rice and homemade chili sauce. The chicken was fried till crispy and well-marinated, while the spiciness of the chili sauce pairs so perfectly-well with the fried rice.
Next, move on to desserts!
Peanut Butter Blueberry Cheese (RM 13). Blueberry cheese is very common, but little did I know the flavours could be so good incorporated with peanut butter. I especially like the nuttiness in the cheesecake. Yumz!
The Green Tea Torte (RM 15) has a nice balance of sweet and bitterness from the green tea and chocolate. If I'm looking for something light and less sweet, this will definitely be my choice.
Flat White (RM 10). The coffee here wasn't too bad as well.
Dark Chocolate (RM 12). Icy and chocolaty, perfect for non-coffee drinkers or chocolate lovers.
CJ-7 (RM 10). Sour plum with 7-up, this frizzy drink is the one to have when it comes to beating the heat.
I can never forget the reason behind the name "Tree 15". We had the chance to talk to the lady boss, and she told us she discovered this shop while doing interior design for the shop's owner. When she stepped into the shop, she was very inspired and believes she can do something special with the space. There's a tree right in the middle of the shop and the shop lot is numbered 15. Hence, the name "Tree 15".
If you love hanging out at quite and cozy cafes, check out Tree 15. They even encourage their customers to explore the space in the cafe and find the spot they love! Then again, if you asked me...my vote definitely goes to the outdoor seats and mezzanine floor!

EcoWorld might only be in the property developer industry for a couple of years, but they are set to become a benchmark in Eco development. EcoWorld has quite a few projects going on around Klang Valley, and they have given their projects a touch of "lifestyle". How so? By collaborating with F&B owners and open a cafe in their development! One of the many examples is Hinata Cafe at Eco Sky Gallery.
Hinata Cafe is a collaboration between EcoWorld and La Casa. The cafe is located within the EcoWorld Bizzhub.
Just like any EcoWorld projects, Hinata Cafe's interior is sophisticated and elegant. Stepping into the cafe, it felt more like a showroom rather than a cafe. Well.... we actually walked pass the cafe and wasn't too sure if we were at the right place. Walking into the cafe, I was instantly attracted to the cozy sofas and zen ambiance of the cafe.
Hinata Cafe is fairly new, and they are still in the midst of making adjustments to their menu. Despite so, the varieties on the menu are quite satisfying.
At first bite, I wasn't a fan of the Wild Mushroom (RM 17). I felt the flavours were a tad light (I'm a bold and strong flavours kind of gal!); but as I kept going, the umami flavours of the mushroom started to show. Ended up, I couldn't stop eating it. This was definitely one of my favourite at Hinata Cafe!
Teriyaki Salmon Don (RM 20). I like the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, but am still not a fan of cooked salmon. I was very surprised to find that they use Japanese rice! If you love salmon, give this a try. It's still a bowl of very comforting food, nevertheless.
Japanese Curry Chicken Cheese Baked Rice (RM 21). Another favourite at Hinata Cafe. The curry flavours were very subtle and the Japanese rice was perfectly baked with cheese. Yummzzz!! Cheese lovers, you can't missed this at Hinata Cafe.
Matcha Latte. Hinata Cafe uses matcha from Matcha Hero at Pavilion KL, and it was not too bad.
I love Hojicha and I can't get enough of the Hojicha Latte. I truly enjoyed the slight bitterness and aromatic tea flavours.
Flat White. Just as their coffee at La Casa, the ones at Hinata Cafe was pretty good too. However, some might find it to be on the milder side.
A slice of cheesecake to wrap up our meal, why not?!
Waffle with Hojicha Ice Cream (RM 20). The waffle was crispy and fluffy, and goes perfectly with Hojicha ice cream and nama chocolates. Not too sweet, I love this! Another recommended dish at Hinata Cafe.
A selection of simple yet delicious comfort food. As mentioned earlier, Hinata Cafe is still in the midst of making adjustments to their menu, and they will be adding new items as time goes by.
The quite and zen ambiance of Hinata Cafe make the cafe a perfect place to chill or to get some work done. Furthermore, the parking is FREE at the moment! Delicious food, comfy and zen ambiance and free parking, what not to like about this place?!

What is the first thing that came to your mind when you think of Damansara Uptown? For me, it is definitely the eateries at the area. Damansara Uptown was THE place for me when I first started cafe hop around PJ area. As time goes by, new cafes are popping up but one of my favourite cafes to hang out is Cafe Lafayette.
Cafe Lafayette was first opened in 2014, and the cosy cafe is one of the places I'll go whenever I'm looking to have comfort food and chill. My favourite spot is the sofa area near the window. Looking out to the street while sipping on my coffee, that's the best!
A hidden corner at the cafe for those who seek for privacy.
About 2 weeks ago, my friends and I paid a visit to Cafe Lafayette and spent a whole afternoon at the cafe.
Cafe Lafayette has recently introduced a new dish - Lafayette Special Big Platter (RM 42), which can be shared by 2 persons. The platter includes chicken chop, fish 'n chips, 2 mushroom soups and 2 ice lemon tea. Can't decide what to order? This "surf & turf" could solve your dilemma.
Aglio Mushroom. Spaghetti tossed with assorted fresh mushroom, chili flakes, garlic and olive oil. If you love spicy food, do give this a go. Personally, I felt this was slightly spicier than the usual aglio. Still very delicious though.
Vegetarian Cheese Baked Penne. Cheese! Cheese! Cheese!!!! And more cheese!!!!!! A simple baked penne but the generous amount of cheese on top of it was too hard to resist.
Honestly, can you say no to these cheesy goodness??? I know I can't!
Fried Mozzarella. One of the must haves at Cafe Lafeyette. Again, if you are a cheese lover, you can't miss out on these babies - crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside.
Apart from the cheesy fillings, I like the dipping sauce a lot. At first glance, it looked like a common tomato sauce, but the mild heat in it was very appetizing.
Bolognese Mushroom. Spaghetti served with mushrooms, olives and tossed in bolognese sauce. Personally, I'm not a fan of bolognese but this was as acidic as some other bolognese I've had before.
It's dessert time!!! And let's start with one of my favourite dessert at Cafe Lafayette - Black Mango. Oreo mousse topped with fresh mangoes, marshmallows and oreo crumbles, the Black Mango wasn't too sweet and light enough to wrap up your meal.
Tiramisu Parfait. Deconstructed tiramisu, have you tried before?
Strawberry Stack. Crispy waffles stacked with fresh strawberries and ice cream at the side. Nice to see, nice to eat as well.
Banana Chocolate Honey Toast. I didn't realize Cafe Lafayette serves honey toast too. Personally, I find the toast was only so-so, but I love the fresh bananas and ice cream on top.
Menu at Cafe Lafayette might not be very extensive, but they serve delicious comfort food. On top of the dishes above, the risotto at Cafe Lafayette is also another must try.

What is your beauty regime? Do you know the importance of thoroughly cleansing your face?
Well... I didn't know the important of cleansing my face thoroughly back then and find it a hassle to do so. As years go by, I started to notice how this has affected my face. I started to have clogged pores and breakouts, and I took me years of hard work to slowly fix my skin condition. As a matter of fact, I'm still in the journey of restoring my skin condition.
If you are still thinking deep cleansing is very troublesome, I'm here to tell you otherwise. You can deep cleanse your face with just 3 steps! Yes, 3 simple steps! How, you asked? With Neutrogena Deep Clean Set!
Neutrogena offers a wide selection of cleansing products that addresses different skin concerns. I've recently tried out 3 of their products and would like to share with you my experience with Neutrogena. Let me start off with my favourite of these deep clean set!
Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil to Foam
A make-up remover and foam cleanser at the same time. It works as dual cleansing with just one wash. The cucumber extract in it is said to help hydrate and leaves your skin soft and healthy.
When I first saw this, I thought it's just another make-up remover. Little did I know the cleansing oil will transforms into cleansing foam when come in contact with water! I guess it is super convenient for lazy people like me.
After a long day out, is time to remove my make-up... with Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil to Foam.
The cleansing oil has a light texture.
First cleanse without water. The cleansing oil is light not oily and doesn't leave any sticky residue on my skin. Even without water, the cleansing oil managed to remove most of my make-up except for my mascara.
Step 2: Cleansing with water. The foam was really gentle and my skin fresh and supple after that. On the other hand, it doesn't remove my mascara. Then again, I'm using Kiss Me mascara, which is known to be quite tough to remove.
So, I did a short video while testing out the cleansing oil with different products - lip tint, eyeliner, concealer and mascara.
As you can see, Neutrogena Hydrating Cleansing Oil to Foam managed to remove all of the cosmetic except for the lip tint. Personally, I felt this is good enough, as we all know removing lip tint can be a nuisance.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Foaming Cleanser
Apart from using a cleansing oil to remove make-up and dirt, we need something basic to cleanse our skin twice daily and able to deep cleanse at the same time. And this is where Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Foaming Cleanser comes into the picture.
The foaming cleanser is an effective moisture-balancing deep cleansing facial cleanser with long-lasting oil control and 2 times moisture boost for cleaner, softer and suppler skin.
Squeeze a small amount of the foaming cleanser and massage onto wet face. The foaming cleanser has a rich and creamy texture.
The cleanser foamed up to a rich and creamy texture, and it gives a refreshing and clean aftermath. However, I don't like the dryness I would felt on my face after cleansing.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub
Scrub has been an essential part of my deep cleansing regime, and I love using them. However, I really have to be very careful in the scrubs that I'm using as I'll get breakout easily if I used the ones that are too harsh for my skin.
I was really surprised by how fine the scrub is. It was really gentle on my skin and my face felt smoother after using it. Although it says blackhead eliminating, I've yet to see any results but it will probably need a bit more time to get rid of the blackhead.

Price: RM 23.70
I truly enjoy these cleansing products from Neutrogena and would like to give a BIG thanks to Neutrogena for curating these Deep Clean products that suits my skin. Out of the 3 products, I really like the Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrating Cleansing Oil to Foam the most. Not only is convenient, but it is effective too!
